Gail’s New Life Journey How I lost 4 stone
and 3 lbs in 3 months starting the 20th February 2010 As my 50th birthday
was getting closer it hit me hard one day that I was so in need of losing weight, I was 26 stone 1LB. I felt it was time to
take control of my life, feel happy, gain confidence and have greater control over my thoughts and emotions. One day I came across one of the local paper advertising-
“Hypnotherapy- Virtual Gastric Mind Band, help with losing weight quickly: no surgery!” Just then I thought this
is what I needed, so with no hesitation I called Andrew Nelson of Headstrongsolutions.com for more information and within
one week I was hypnotised which added a virtual gastric band to my mind.There was no Gastric band complications through surgery
and costing a fraction of the price for surgery. Almost instantly my whole attitude towards food and myself changed this made
me feel more determined to start my new life. Andrew is supportive and is like a personal trainer giving me top ups when needed.
My journey so farWeek 1- starting weight 26st 1pound- I felt very
relaxed and motivated with lots of determination.Week 2- could not wait for the first weighing. I lost 12 pounds which was a superb result- never lost so much before
in one week.Week 3- still very
positive and lost another 8 pounds.Week
4- lost another 5 poundsWeek
5- Cannot physically believe it, another 7 pounds off. I found that my clothes began to get excessively bigger.Week 6 & 7- maintained the same weight; however

am so very proud of myself. My
first goal to aim for within 12 weeks of starting the course of hypnosis was to look good and feel great for when attending
my twin sisters wedding. I can’t
say it’s been plain sailing. I have had some rocky times with work commitments as I am a tutor at a local college. I
had the pleasure of an offsted inspection that was a very challenging moment. However the results attained was an outstanding
grade. My journey has been life
changing, my confidence has uplifted my appearance. Attitude to myself has changed, happy with my life, lots of motivation,
new experiences. Andrew has given me so much confidence, has built my self esteem, he has also been
my mentor through my ups and downs, he has kept me on track to strive further and to achieve my goals. Food no longer seems to be a problem, I only eat healthy foods its not a diet, I eat slowly and only eat when hungry

amount of weight for my annual summer holiday, which I am really looking forward to now that I have found new confidence and

Progress update from Elaine after hypno gastric mind band. HI Andrew, It’s been 12 months since I came
to you to ask about having hypnotherapy for weight loss. Then after our consultation, doing something positive
to achieve this by going ahead and having a gastric band fitted, as well as you solving some of my long term personal issues. I am pleased to tell you that I have managed to keep the 3 stones off that I lost.
I do believe your suggestion for me to join a gym or to exercise more has helped me not only achieve but maintain
my target weight along with a healthier lifestyle. I do actually now enjoy going to the gym and taking part
in aerobics and zumba classes whenever I can. I find this is good for me to get to know other people too. I now
enjoy going shopping for new clothes and being able to fit into fashionable clothes and getting dressed up and
feel much better for my new looks in fact my entire outlook is much improved. Elaine, Preston

My name is Janice and I am 45 I
have been overweight for years, I have always blamed it on pregnancy but I think that is wearing a bit thin after 23years!
I have been on every diet invented, I did loose 4 stone about 6 years it took me 2 years and I put 5 stone back on,
so in July of this year I decided to try hypnosis I knew nothing about it so I searched the internet and found Andrew
Nelson who was local and had good testimonies I had my first appointment on 5th July. I was very sceptical and even
after my initial appointment when Andrew had hypnotised me into believing I had had a virtual gastric band fitted I
thought to myself "well that was a waste of money but at least I tried" I felt no different until I returned
home and tried to eat normally, it just wouldn't go down I followed the eating plan that Andrew had given me an
what follows is a week by week weight loss diary,
July 5th 17stone
July 12th OMG I have lost
12lb (16st 2lb) maybe I can actually do this
July 19th I have lost another 5lb that’s 17lb (15st 11lb)
July 26th 3lb off 15st 8lb
August 2nd another 3lb off not eating hardly anything but it's really strange
I haven't been hungry
August 9th 2lb off seeing Andrew today hope he is as pleased as me whoop whoop
August 16th 4lb off this week that’s 29lb in total how good am I
No entry for 23rd of august as I am on
holiday a little worried about what to eat and no excercise
August 30th no need to worry another 6ib off now weigh
14st 7lb total loss 35lb OMG thats 2 and half stone
September 6th 2lb off everyone is noticing my weight loss and
I have dropped from size 20 trousers to a 16 but they are a little big
September 13th 3lb off only 2lb to
go till my 3 stones I bought a pair of size 14 trousers and fastened them not quite the perect fit but getting
there
September 20th 3lb I am now 13st 13lb 43lbs lost so far I am absoulutely delighted
Thats 11 weeks
of weightloss and I have not finished yet I am putting a couple of pictures on entitled before and up to now because
I am not yet at my after picture, this weightloss prgramme has been uncomplecated easy and I have not been hungry Andrew
is inspirational and has changed my outlook on life and made my life happier and healthier thank you Andrew
Amanda – My story up to 12th
July 2011When your size 26 trousers are a bit tight it’s not a problem
because Evans do a size 28When
your size 28 top is to tight again it’s not a problem because Evans do a 30 and even a 32!!!When
you check into a hotel room and you can’t fit in the shower cubicle it’s not a major problem as reception
can move you to a room with a bathWhen your 2 ½ year old Niece asks you to run through the leaves
with her and jump and splash in the puddles and you can’t because you are so unfit you can’t run, there
is no easy solution or a quick fix and no one else can help you............
All of the above happened to
me and the only one that had any effect on me was the last one – when this happened I was devastated, it really
upset me and after moping around for a couple of months and feeling sorry for myself I decided to do something about
it. My lifestyle was always to blame for my weight – I spend most of my working day behind
the wheel of a car or sat at a desk, grabbing sandwiches (oh and a packet of crisps, can of pop and maybe a chocolate
bar... or two) for my lunch, coming home from work to tired to do anything, having my tea and sitting in front of the
TV until bed time. Then sleeping really badly and starting the cycle again the next day.
Over the last 10 years I have tried all sorts of diets and they all worked but only in the
short term and then I would revert back to my usual life style and put the weight back on.
I didn’t eat rubbish or junk food – most of my meals were homemade but there was too much and
added together with no exercise I piled the weight on over the last 10 years. I didn’t know
and didn’t want to know what I weighed as I knew it was too much. In a local
magazine I read an advert for a fantastic weight loss program that didn’t involve surgery but would
guarantee a weight loss – I had nothing to lose so I enquired about it – the solution was a “Virtual
Gastric Mind Band” – what a load of rubbish I thought..!!!! How can hypnosis stop you
from eating – it will never work.
After
doing a lot of research on the internet I finally plucked up the courage to see Andrew on 16th November 2010
– coincidently my 41st Birthday. We talked through why I was the size
I was
and what I would like to achieve, Andrew explained how the treatment would work and what I would need to do as a result
of it – and to be 100% honest, I still thought it was mumbo jumbo and it wouldn’t work but may as well give
it a go.
Once
I was comfortable with it all, Andrew hypnotised me (I was still convinced it wouldn’t work!!) 22 minutes later
I opened my eyes and honestly I felt like I had slept for a month – I felt so relaxed, but nothing else – I’m
not sure what I expected but I felt like nothing had happened, which was a strange feeling. I had
told one or two friends what I had done and we were all keen to see what would happen.
Over the next two weeks “IT” happened - I lost 16lbs........I
wasn’t hungry at all – I followed the eating guide to the letter and only had liquids for the 2 weeks (including
yoghurt and Sugar Free jelly) but I was never hungry!!! It was bizarre – maybe this hypnosis
thing may work after all..... :-) Listening to the hypnosis CD every night is now part of my routine. On December 15th I bought a Wii fit Plus and exercised every night –
sometimes 3 or 4 hours – I had loads of energy but I was still not hungry. Following the
2nd stage of the eating plan was easy especially as every time I stood on the scale the weight was coming
off – there is nothing more encouraging than that. December was a hard month with parties and Christmas but every week I lost a couple
of pounds – 24lb in total by week6
I was just not eating the amount I used to. My new eating routine was and still
is :- Breakfast – 2 Weetabix or a bowl of Puffed WheatLunch – A bowl of homemade soup –
Celery, Cauliflower, carrot, butternut SquashDinner - A portion of meat or fish (steamed or dry roasted) and 2 or 3 portions of Vegetables
– usually steamed Snacks – 5 pieces of fruit, Sugar Free jelly, no fat yogurt, Low fat cheese (Philadelphia style) Drinks –
Tea with semi skimmed milk, water and an Ovaltine at bed timeAlcohol – if I fancy a drink I have a nice Bloody Mary – low calorie
and can count as one of my 5 a day!!!Occasionally I will eat and I have a normal meal off the menu but I never clear my plate and then
do extra walking to burn it off This has carried on, there
has not been a single week when I have put weight on – a couple of times i haven’t lost anything but I have
never put on!! By week 10 I had lost 35lb, week 20 58lb, week 30 72lb, Week 34 77lb – That’s
over 5st!!!!!!!
People are speechless when they see me – they can’t believe the change in
how I look.I would buy new clothes and they would be too big for me before I had chance to wear them out –
my wardrobe is empty!! But it is a brilliant feeling.
In May I decided to start walking and am now doing 3-5 miles a minimum of 5 nights a
week and also go for at least a 10 miles bike ride every week – I have loads of energy and sleep like a log every
night – I then wake up ready to face the world – I even look forward to going for a walk,On July 3rd I took
part in the Race for Life and did 5k in 1 hour 39 seconds,
this is the first time I have ever felt capable of
doing something like this and was so proud of myself, the challenge is now to do it quicker next year!!! I
have gone from a 28 trouser to a 20/22; my tops were 30/32 and are now 22/24. I can buy clothes in normal shops; there are even clothes that are too big for me now!!! There is still a way to go but I
know I can get there and I know this time I will stay there. This
is my new life now and I am never going to allow myself to go back to my old one
13/07/11 Andrew I came to you for a gastric mind band to
help me lose weight –my scales were hovering around 12 stone and I'm only 5' 2” tall and was having to
buy size 18 – 20 clothes or very loose fitting 16. You took me on a journey of discovery finding the root causes of
my problems going right back to my childhood. I want to thank you soooh much for unlocking my past hang ups and
helping me move forward. Since I have seen you Andrew I am a much happier person - now that you have shown me
how to let go of the past and live my life with new confidence and a believing that I can and did make changes happen. I
can honestly say I now feel much more relaxed and in touch with my true feelings and will be forever grateful for what you

As a 35 year old mum of 3, having had 3 caesareans and years of yo yo dieting I am around 2 stone heavier than 15
years ago. I am fed up with images of skinny mum’s and terms such as “slummy mummy” and more recently the

really positive. I listen to the CD and am fully motivated to get through the day. A GREAT START!!! DAY 2 I love this soup!! Today I have added curry powder and spinach and it tastes
like a vegetable balti – yummy. I have a really strong image of how I want to look in my mind and any cravings don’t
stand a chance against this. I cannot believe how motivated and focussed I am, it is brilliant. I have lost a lot of bloatedness
today and feel great. Listen to the CD again and nearly fall asleep! DAY 3 I have loads of energy and manage a 10 mile walk with friends. This diet has given me a valuable energy boost
as I train for a walking half marathon and need all the energy I can muster. DAY 4 On the mid-point of the diet the food combination gives me great taste and even more energy.
I have done half already and it has been so easy. My positive self image and the CD are great in keeping me motivated. DAY 5 My clothes are actually feeling loose!! All of the bloatedness is gone and I
can’t wait to see what clothes I can get into by the end of the diet!! DAY 6 Someone at school has act ually asked me if I have lost some weight. It’s been a hot day
and I have been able to wear fitted summer clothes comfortably. I can’t believe how good I feel. I have also found myself
using the positive thinking technique in other areas of my life. I do actually feel like a different person. DAY 7 Final day and I feel great. I can’t wait to weight myself tomorrow and

days on the diet have been easy and time has passed very quickly. I really feel that I have achieved something very positive. WEIGH IN DAY 8 - Weight 10st 12lb I have lost 10lb in the last week and I feel amazing.
I can easily fit into my good old size 12 clothes and I am standing tall and looking good!! I went back to see Andrew today
and we discussed the continuation of positive thinking strategies for continuing my weight loss as I would like to aim for
10st. I feel like my life has been turned around – my perspective has totally changed and I feel that anything is in
my reach. I feel that I can do anything and I know that I WILL achieve anything that I persue in the future.
Jo-Anne's Story. After
spending all my time at uni feeling bigger and less attractive than my friends, I came home looking for a job and feeling
that my appearance was letting me down in interview situations. After being fitted with the virtual gastric band, I
have lost 11 pounds and feel fantastic! As well as looking better I also feel much healthier altogether. And the biggest
thing is the boost to my confidence! Dear Andrew I hope this email finds you well and keeping fine!! Just a quick update on how things are here after my sessions with you. I lost 10lbs doing the hypno diet in just 10
days. Although the diet plan is a tried and tested one I did vary it slightly based on my own nutritional knowledge and found
I kept this healthy eating plan going for a lot longer. After 2 weeks I attended my baby’s Christening which I thoroughly
enjoyed and felt very confident in my new dress. I got loads of compliments about my weight loss and how good I looked. Since
then I have remained motivated and focused. I have lost another 2 lbs and now go jogging 3 times a week. In 2 weeks I’m
off on holiday and am now looking forward to my post baby bikini debut rather than dreading it. Thanks a million for
your insight and guidance. I can honestly say this is the first time in my life that I feel free from diets and that my relationship
with food is a good one the weight is coming off with no effort and I am now nearly 2 dress sizes smaller.
As for
the picking well that’s not quite so good as the weight loss I have to say. I know I am not picking as much as I used
to and can go a whole day without picking one which was unheard of but I still pick on a regular basis and on a bad day can
still make quite a mess of my arms (the other parts of my body I have more or less left alone now which is great) I listen
to the CD most days but can go 2/3 days without doing and try hard to visualise as we practiced, do you have any more suggestions
on how I can break this habit for good?
